What are the benefits of a vacation home rental?
Vacation Homes are the new way to vacation with your family! We put the home in vacation home and provide the perfect rentals only minutes from Disney. Our vacation properties feature all the amenities you would find in your own home, some of which featuring extra features such as games rooms and private pools. You and your family will be able to enjoy the luxuries of a home rather than a small and cramped hotel room.

How do I book a home?
You can either make a booking directly on our website or you can call our reservations team at 866 556 6805.

Is booking online secure?
We implement a variety of security measures to maintain the safety of your personal information when you book with us. We use a secure server and all supplied sensitive/credit information is transmitted via Secure Socket Layer (SLL) technology and then encrypted into our payment gateway providers database. It will only be accessible by those authorized with special rights to such systems. They are required to keep the information confidential. After a transaction, your private information (credit cards, social security numbers, financials, etc.) will not be stored on our servers. 

Can I bring my pet with me?
Unfortunately we do not allow pets in any of our vacation properties and we have a strict pet policy in place. Those found to be in violation of this policy will be subject to a minimum $500 fee.

Are your vacation rentals non-smoking?
All of our vacation rentals have a strict non-smoking policy that is strongly enforced. Those found to be in violation of this smoking policy will be subject to a minimum $500 fee. 

What should I bring with me?
We will provide you with a starter kit in your home which includes basic items such as dish soap and a trash bag to get you started in your vacation property. We provide bath and hand towels in each bathroom along with one toilet roll per bathroom. Guests are encouraged to bring their own beach/pool towels as property towels cannot be used for this purpose.

Are the properties cleaned daily?
Our vacation properties are cleaned upon every guest departure and inspected pre and post guest arrival. During your stay we do not enter your vacation rental unless required. If you would like to schedule a daily maid service you may do so by contacting our reservations team. All cleans must be scheduled at least 48 hours prior to date of clean. Daily maid service or additional cleans are an additional cost and must be paid in full prior to service. Guests are not required to clean the property, but cleaning supplies such as a vacuum and broom are provided to clean up any spills.

What happens if I leave something behind?
If any personal items are left behind in the vacation rental property, our team will do our best to locate them. Please note, the owner and Select Vacation Villas are NOT responsible for any lost items. If lost items are found, Select Vacation Villas will schedule for the items to be shipped to the guest. Guests are 100% responsible for all shipping costs. 

How close are our vacation homes to Disney World and other area attractions?
Windsor Hills Resort is located only 2 miles to the entrance of Walt Disney World. Other area attractions such as; Universal Studios and Sea World are located just 20-30 minutes away by car.

How do I reserve my vacation rental?
To reserve a home, we require 20% of the total rental cost paid upon confirmation. This amount is non-refundable.

When is the final balance due?
The final balance is due 45 days prior to your arrival. This is non-negotiable. Please see our cancellation policy for further details on refunds terms.

Will I stay in the home that I have booked?
Once you have booked your chosen vacation home this will be the property where you will be staying! Our calendars automatically update upon confirmation of reservation and our calendars are always live! If for some unforeseen reason we are required to move you to another property, we will give you prior notice, as well as ensure that you are relocated to a property of your choice with similar specifications and price. If the guest is presented with options that are not agreeable, Select Vacation Villas will be happy to provide a refund. 

How will I receive my confirmation and arrival instructions?
All confirmation and arrival instructions will be sent by email immediately after you confirm your reservation. To ensure you receive your reservation emails please make sure you enter your email correctly and adjust your spam filter to add our domain selectvacationvillas.com to your list of accepted email addresses. You will receive your reservation confirmation email within 24 hour of making your reservation. Once you have received your reservation confirmation you will be required to read our terms and conditions online and sign our online rental agreement. Upon completion of your online rental agreement and full payment, you will then receive your rental voucher. This rental voucher will include all instructions for your vacation rental, such as; door code, property address, WIFI information, and we recommend guests print this voucher out for arrival at the Resort. You will be required to show this rental voucher and a valid photo ID upon arrival to the resort as you enter through security. What time is check-in and check-out?
Your vacation rental will be available for check-in upon the date of arrival at 4:00 PM. Check-out is at 10:00 AM on the day of departure. Early check-in and late check-out is available for an additional fee and should be scheduled at least 48 hours prior to the scheduled date of arrival and date of departure. If you would like to schedule an early check-in or late check-out you may do so by contacting our reservations team at 866-556-6805. 

What is required at check-out?
Upon check-out, please remove all sheets and linens from the beds and place all towels in the laundry area. Please empty all trash cans in the home and place all trash in the receptacles outside of the home. Don't forget to check the entire vacation rental for all of your belongings. 

What is your cancellation policy?
Any cancellation of a booking by the client must be in writing and is subject to the following charges:
20% reservation deposit is non-refundable
50% if less than 45 days prior to arrival date
75% if less than 30 days prior to arrival date
100% if less than 15 days prior to arrival date
(*Please note: No refunds will be given if guests elect to leave their property early or no-show)
We regret that we are unable to waive any of the cancellation fees above. We highly recommend purchasing CSA trip insurance to protect against any unforeseen cancellations for your vacation.

Is there a minimum night stay?
Yes, we have a 4 night minimum stay policy for all of our vacation properties located in Windsor Hills Resort.

What should we do if we have an issue in the home?
Our reservations team is available to take your call and your concerns at 866 556 6805 during regular business hours. All issues will be documented and addressed in a timely manner. To ensure piece of mind, we additionally have a team member on-call 24 hours a day to deal with any emergency situations that may arise in your home. You may reach this team member for emergencies only by dialing our toll free number 866 556 6805 and dialing option 0.

Are the kitchens in the home fully equipped?
All of our vacation rentals are fully equipped with the basic essentials such as; refrigerator, freezer, oven range, microwave and dishwasher. Additionally, all of our properties have a toaster, coffee maker, cookware, dishes, glasses and utensils. 

Are there laundry facilities in the homes?
Each property has a private laundry room with a full sized washer and dryer, iron and ironing board.

Do I need to pay for pool heat?
Yes, unfortunately pool heat is not included in the cost of our rentals. If you would like to add pool heat for your splash pool or pool heat for your hot tub, you will need to do so by confirming with our reservations team. The cost of pool heat is priced based on the property and the size of the pool.

Will the pool be hot if I purchase pool heat?
If you choose to purchase pool heat, we will turn on the heater 24 hours prior to your arrival. The pool and spa will be heated to a temperature of 80-84 degrees Fahrenheit. If you have a pool with a spa will be heated to a temperature of 94-102 degrees Fahrenheit. When you turn on the spa mode, the system will automatically adjust the valves so that the water from the spa is returned back to the spa. This system bypasses the pool, and so the spa will be heated up to a higher temperature. If left in spa mode, the pool will not receive any heated water, thus leaving it to cool.

Do pools cool down over night?
The pool heaters operate on a timer and are schedule to come on in the morning and go off in the evening. There will be some cooling off overnight when the air temperature drops.


 

Windsor Hills Resort FAQs


What are the pool hours?
The community pool in Windsor Hills Resort is open daily from 8:00 AM - 10:00 PM. The water slide is open from 10:00 AM - 8:00 PM.

Can I schedule grocery delivery in the Resort?
Yes! We would be happy to place you in contact with one of our preferred partners who will assist you in preparing everything you need for your arrival. There is also a sundry shop located in the clubhouse where you can purchase grocery items and order grocery packages prior to arrival. Please contact us for more information at: [email protected] 

What do I need to enter the Resort upon arrival?
Every guest will receive a rental voucher via email from Select Vacation Villas and this voucher will allow you to enter the resort and receive your parking pass. Security will need to see this voucher along with your valid photo ID. After confirming these two documents, they will then issue you with a tag, which you will place inside your car on the interior mirror. This hang-tag will be valid for the entire duration of your stay. If you have more than 1 vehicle, please make sure each vehicle has a copy of your rental voucher and a valid photo ID. 

Does this Resort have security patrol vehicles?
To protect all guests and properties, security cars patrol the resort and are authorized to stop and search any vehicle with reasonable cause. This is very rare, but they will always check to make sure your hang-tag is visible when you enter and exit the resort.

Is there a speed limit in the Resort?
All guests should adhere to a 25 mph speed limit at all times.

Do I need a pass or code to access the community pool and clubhouse?
Yes, you will need to take your rental voucher and valid photo ID to the welcome center. There a code will be issues on your rental voucher for you to use in order to gain access to the pool and clubhouse amenities.

Are there height restrictions for the pool slide?
Yes, guests must be at least 42 inches tall in order to use the pool slide.

What are the Sundry Store opening hours?
During summer months (April 1st - September 30th) hours of operation are 8:00 AM to 9:00 PM. During winter months (October 1st - March 31st) hours of operation are 8:00 AM - 7:00 PM.

Does the Resort have quiet hours?
All guests must adhere to quiet time between the hours of 11:00 PM and 7:00 AM daily.

What are the visitation and parking regulations for the Resort?
Each reservation is permitted 5 vehicles total. This number includes visitor vehicles. There are only two parking spaces available for the homes, and one parking space per townhome. Any additional vehicles must park in the oversize parking lot near the Clubhouse. Please note that street parking is not allowed within the Resort, parking is only allowed in designated parking spots and parked vehicles cannot block sidewalks. If you have Visitors to your home they will need Valid photo ID and will be issued a temporary access pass that must be displayed in the windshield. The pass will expire at midnight on the day of arrival. Windsor Hills Resort does have active security vehicles throughout the resort 24 hours a day, 7 days a week. All vehicles found to be in violation of the resort policies will be towed at the Guest's expense.
